As a professional SEO company, we conducted a website audit after understanding the business requirements and objectives. It was essential to understand the root cause of the problems and poor search engine performance. Here’s what we found:

The home page was poorly structured, and the key elements (CTA buttons), navigation, and content hierarchy were not up to current industry standards.
Multiple and missing canonical tags led to duplicate content problems and confused the search engines about which page to index.
There was no blog section, meaning the client was missing opportunities for content marketing and SEO.
The website had a relatively high loading time, which affected user experience.
The URLs had unnecessary .html extensions, which made them less user-friendly and search engine-optimized.
When redirecting from http://camlockfittings.com.au/ to https://www.camlockfittings.com.au/, an incorrect status code was shown.
The images were not optimized for SEO. They lacked ALT text, which is essential as search engines analyze ALT text to understand image contents.
