The brand had a reputation in the luxury automotive aftermarket as a creative, precise, and daring brand, and they required a digital experience to correspond with that.
Here, we feature the collaboration of our team with Valvetronic Designs in reworking and creating their Shopify Plus webpage. We wanted to establish a smooth-looking performance-based platform that ensures exclusivity of the brand, enhances usability, and facilitates growth at retail and wholesale level.

Challenges

Valvetronic approached us with certain customer experience issues and sales potentials:

  • Website Designing of high end brands.
    The earlier site did not make one feel high-end or engineering accuracy of the products of the brand.
  • Year-Make-Model Functionality
    Customers required a faster mechanism of narrowing down exhaust systems to those that fit their vehicles and reduced confusion and improper purchasing.
  • Custom Stock Level Messages.
    The default stock warning of Shopify was generic and did not provide urgency and clarity to the buyers.
  • Mega Menu Navigation
    Having a big number of products, the navigation was overloaded and not in line with the luxury perception of the brand.
  • Dealer Finder Integration
    International network of dealers was hardly available to customers seeking local buying facilities.
  • Wholesale Functionality
    The brand had to have a simplified method of catering to both B2C and B2B dealer clients in the same platform.
  • Returns Management
    The returns and exchanges of the products were manually and laboriously handled by customers and support staff.
  • Reward Program
    Valvetronic had a desire to create customer loyalty in the competitive marketplace using incentives and referrals.

Solution

  • Our collaboration with Valvetronic Designs created and built a high-end Shopify Plus experience that is completely in line with its luxury automotive performance brand offerings. The site was designed using vivid graphics, smooth fonts and rich imagery to demonstrate innovation and develop a precision in engineering.
  • As a way of simplifying the process of shopping, we adopted a unique Year-Make-Model picker that enables its customers to identify the compatible exhaust systems in their vehicles within a short time. Where the exact match is not found, the system will automatically propose universal products, so that the user can always have relevant options.
  • We also improved the purchasing experience by adding custom stock messaging to communicate the availability effectively and create a sense of urgency by encouraging buyers to place an order (Limited stock – order soon, etc.). An original mega menu was also designed, with the entire line of Valvetronic products arranged in a simple, easy to follow system that is easy to look at.
  • To be accessible to our customers across all the regions of the world, we incorporated Dealer Finder that operates on the Google Maps platform that links us to our authorized partners everywhere. Shopify Plus functionality was also customized on the wholesale side to give dealers a unique portal with special prices, bulk purchasing, and direct B2B purchases.
  • The support team and automated RMA system enhanced the post purchase experiences and facilitated the process of returns and exchange of goods by customers. We have also introduced a rewards and referral program to take into consideration the customer loyalty, which stimulated the repeated business and long-term associations with the brand.
